Gas Prices OUCH!
With gas prices averaging about $4.00 per gallon hybrid cars are getting looks from people who have not considered them in the past. Being green and socially conscious has always been a good reason to buy a hybrid car but now it is starting to make sense strictly from a financial standpoint. People are not just buying hybrids because of a sense of green status or environmental concern but to protect their pocketbooks as well. If there is a silver lining in high fuel prices it is that it forces people to conserve fuel and protect the environment whether they like it or not.
